Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves. Your analytics data stays first-party on our infrastructure and is never shared with or sold to third parties.

Umami is cookieless. It sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifier on your device, and does not track you across other websites — so we show no cookie banner.

What we collect

Aggregated, non-identifying usage data: page views, the referring site, UTM campaign parameters, approximate country, device and browser type, and a small set of interaction events (for example, starting sign-up, selecting a pricing plan, or copying an install command).

Signed-in users are not personally identified in analytics. We never attach your account, email, or user ID to analytics events.

Data retention

Analytics data is stored on our own infrastructure in aggregated, non-identifying form. We keep it only as long as it remains useful for understanding usage and product trends, and we record no session replays. Because it is not linked to your identity, it cannot be used to build a personal profile of you.

Account & billing data

Separately from analytics, we process the data you provide to create an account and pay for the service (such as your email address and billing details) solely to operate Rested.
